An LLM (Large Language Model) is an AI system that can work with written human language. Text has always been, and will always be, the killer UI. People working with text-based Generative AI are finding they can leverage it to do five key tasks.
- Summarize - making complex text simpler to understand
- Extract - structuring key data into JSON, CSV, and XML
- Classify - deciding if text fits a particular category
- Write - producing human ready text on any topic
- Answer/Brainstorm - responding from its general understanding of the world
My advice for everyone is simple. Try GenAI.
- Learn how to engineer ideal prompts to request valuable responses from LLMs.
- Decide how GenAI helps you accelerate problem solving.
- Predict where it’s heading into the future.

Why did I create this video? To appeal to a different audience! I'm a writer and I enjoy it. Writing helps me discover what I think about a subject. Even better, I figure out gaps in my knowledge while writing. Then I need to go read more, build something, or listen to people more experienced.
